This Thematic Track was canceledCall for PapersIn the term Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) we stand for technology in his broadest sense. It can include hardware and software. The use of TEL in modern education is very extended and conventional and distance learning is based in some part of the content in technology.Quality is a concept well extended in fabrication of products in industry and in services in all fields of life, between them, in education. The hardware and software technologies are changing very fast, as a result, new uses of technologies for education are emerging. These can enhance student learning, prepare students for effective use of technologies and enable teachers to be more productive. The large and different type of technologies that can be applied to learning implies the need of a revision of what kind of technology is good for what type of education, and in particular, in Information and communication Technologies (ICT). Application of quality concepts to technology enhanced learning will improve the results in the learning process. This track seeks contributions on the impact of applying the concepts of Quality in the use of Technology Enhanced Learning in the education. This track will bring together researchers from academia and industry interested in meeting the challenges of the application of quality concepts to TEL. Topics include, but are not limited to: • Quality in application of TEL • Evaluation criteria and accreditation of TEL courses and programs • Code for Good Teaching Practices in TEL • TEL Standardization, existing or new proposals • Experiences in application of TEL • Design of courses using TEL • Measuring the quality of tools and techniques used Paper submissionAuthors should submit to http://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=quatic2014 a PDF version of their paper. Papers must be in CPS format and not exceed 6 pages, including figures, references, and appendices. Submissions must be original and will be reviewed by the Track Program Committee. Accepted papers will be be submitted for archiving in Xplore and CSDL, subject to one of the authors registering for the conference. The authors of the 3 best papers of this thematic track will be invited to submit extended versions to the main track of the conference.
